Ongoing Projects:
Our projects include;
1. #CANYouthVoteMatter and #CANMinorityVoteMatter awareness campaign! The youth of Canada make up a quarter of the population, but they don't go out and have their voices heard. It goes the same for minority populations: no one is able to listen to the things they want to implement in their community, the issues they want to solve. Youth and minorities should be more engaged in politics, whether it be voting or running themselves.

The three things that the youth and minorities want for themselves, those are the things that they should go out and look for in their representatives. If we demand that we want our issues paid attention to, it will put a pressure on politicians to fulfill our wishes. After all, if one quarter of the population doesn't vote for you, that's a lot of votes to lose. That way, you vote for the people who will put your issues into awareness, people who will make your issues heard. That is why I believe that the youth and minorities should come and vote!

2. The year 2020 is going to be the only year ever in human history which will go with the statement Vision 20/20 which means Normal Vision. As this year 2020 will never be repeated ever again we will like to preserve its significance and we are launching our new project;
“20/20: Year of the Sight”
We will like WHO and UN declare 2020 as “Year of the Sight” and we have made a logo for it too:

We plead big businesses, philanthropists, celebrities and our government to come and partner with us and support local organizations fighting blindness.
Come support Harry Watts Memorial Ride and National Service Dogs in Waterloo Region.
World Health Organization says that, “ Globally, it is estimated that approximately 1.3 billion people live with some form of vision impairment”, and according to the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness 75% of all blindness is curable. Let’s come together to help children fight blindness and achieve the global targets of reducing children blindness from 7.5/10,000 children (in 1997) to 4/10,000 children by the year 2020.

Former Member of Parliament for Kitchener Centre said that he will try to raise awareness and much more about our project in the Parliament of Canada. I support my teachers, we were to celebrate in our school the "Day of the Sight" on Thursday 2/20/2020 but now we have rescheduled it to March. I will also like to thank Dr. Derek MacDonald of ILEX Eye for sponsoring our event. Our logo also promotes Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Also thank you Rhona Lahey, Director of Communications and Marketing, Canadian Association of Optometrists for lauding my 20/20 Year of the Sight & Day of the Sight project and sending me an appreciation package!
3. #DAMD (Daughters Against Marijuana Driving) and #DAHD (Daughters Against High Drivers). These are my awareness campaigns, to tell people that if you drive recklessly while high, you could destroy an entire family. Now that marijuana has become legal, it is even more crucial that people drive safely. When my dad goes out in his car, when he goes places, I want him to come back safely to us, his family, because if anything was to happen to my father, my whole life would be shattered. The gap he left would never be able to be refilled, never replaced. Nothing could change that, and that is why I want to spread awareness on this topic. https://crl.wrdsb.ca/2018/10/15/cannabis-legalization-and-our-schools/
4. We are requesting companies to help kids by donating Tablets and Chromebooks to Public Schools. We believe that technology is the future. Making our schools great again - one tablet one student at a time!
5. We want our community kids to grow strong and healthy and our theme is making Canadian Kids Strong Again, One Kid, One Glass Of Milk At Time! We also support our Canadian Dairy Farmers and their families.
6. We are trying to make people judge others by using their senses of taste and sight. We have requested Rogers TV to build a program in partnership so as to highlight this issue.
7. We are currently selling cookies to raise money for the students in a Pakistani private school who are recovering from the tragic incident in 2014 in which inhumane terrorists killed 141 innocent students (mostly children) and wounded over 100 students (again, mostly children).
The children who are recovering need medical attention and we are trying to help them by doing our part and seeking your assistance in this regard as well.
This project is helping us to understand the importance of education and that we are part of our global community. We want the Pakistani children to always know that we are with them in their hour of need and we will never give in to the evil that threatens us all.
8. Why is a woman always a demon and a man a fool? The fool is always forgiven but the demon goes to hell. Why do we treat a woman like this, that she cannot be forgiven even for her smallest of mistakes? Would Hillary have had the same fate if she were a man?
Why are we afraid of strong ethnic minority women? Why are we the only ones to be cut from a picture to 'save space' on paper?
Our region is hub of education. We were so happy that we were represented by a strong young woman of ethnic minority named Bardish.
Mr. Trudeau I do not know what your inner circle told you, but you have not asked the young ethnic minority women of our region who had high hopes that just like Bardish Chagger one day they would have a chance too to be looked beyond our ethnicity and our color and be recognized and rewarded for our work and character.
I wish and pray that the same fate does not follow Anita Anand.
